The first step to any successful party is knowing how to decorate your house. This is probably the most stressful step and the one that requires the most time but there are some many cool DIY that you can safe time and many of this you can do them with your family. We choose the top 3 activities to do so you can decorate your house this Holidays:
Easter themed flower arrangement: Most of the supplies for this fun project can be found in your local Dollar Tree. The fist thing you need is the base for your flowers, you can buy a Tin can or a glass vase, put a Styrofoam ball and with a knife level it, you can paint it so it doesn’t look all white, buy some cool green acrylic paint and use a brush to decorate. When it’s dry all you need to do is decide how to place the decorations: you can buy some Easter Egg Picks (you can use any color) and some floral arrangements they can be white so you don’t have a problem with matching it to the eggs.
Bunny Door Decoration: Peeps are a favorite this holiday, they are yummy and come in so many colors that why not use them to decorate your door!? For this fun decoration you will need a Styrofoam Wreath about 10” , 5 different color Peeps, toothpicks. For the first part you need to let the peeps dry, it is easier like this so take them out of the package and let them dry for a couple of days; after this place toothpicks along the wreath and place the Peeps in any order you want. Finish this decoration with a nice bow and use a floral pin to secure it.
Bunny door sign: This is probably the most demanding decoration but it’s fun and you can use it year after year. For this project you need wood, paint (different colors), white paint, white chalk and a fake bunny tale. The first thing is to paint your wood rectangle, you can use one color or make it like a rainbow, your kids can definitely help you with this. Wait some hours and when it’s completely dry draw a bunny silhouette and fill it with white paint; again wait until it’s dry and with wood glue pin the fake bunny tale!
